As Joseph DaGrosa, Founder &amp; Chairman of DaGrosa Capital Partnersput it, \u201cpeople are getting older\u2026 and they\u2019re moving away from buying things to really wanting to have experiences where they can enjoy life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not just demographic\u2014it\u2019s cultural. Consumers across generations are prioritizing memories over material goods, pushing experiences\u2014travel, dining, hospitality\u2014ahead of traditional luxury products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sports, meanwhile, has always traded in experience\u2014but is now scaling it globally. As Marc Ganis, Founder &amp; Executive Managing Director of Sportscorp Ltd noted, live sports remains uniquely valuable because \u201cit can&#8217;t be time shifted\u2026 people want to watch it live.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That urgency\u2014combined with emotional connection\u2014is what both sectors are now monetizing more intelligently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Personalization at Scale: The New Premium Standard<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next frontier is not just experience\u2014but personalized experience at scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In sports, this is being driven by technology as Ganis said:<br>\u201cAI is going to allow\u2026 not just the expansion of being able to watch your games anywhere\u2026 but the games you want to see, who you want to watch them with.\u201d Imagine choosing your own camera angle, following a single player, or virtually watching a match with friends across continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luxury is moving in the exact same direction. AsJonathan Goldstein, Co-Founder &amp; CEO of Cain highlighted: \u201cI want to make sure that the automation\u2026 makes sure that I&#8217;m actually treated as an individual\u2026 that they know what I like.\u201d From hotels that remember your wellness preferences to curated, localized luxury offerings, individuality is becoming the ultimate status symbol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Frictionless by Design: AI as the Invisible Engine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If personalization is the promise, AI is the engine\u2014and invisibility is the goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luxury leaders were blunt: friction kills experience. \u201cEvery time the customer has to stop and get a receipt and deal with that\u2026 it\u2019s literally just the absolute killer.\u201d, said Marc Lotenberg, Founder, CEO &amp; Chairman of Dorsia<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ambition? A world with no payments, no queues, no interruptions\u2014just seamless flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sports are evolving in the same direction. Streaming is no longer just distribution\u2014it\u2019s becoming a full-stack commercial engine. As Danny Townsend, CEO of SURJ Sports Investment, explained, it is turning into \u201ca digital platform to drive the economics\u2026 where they sell tickets\u2026 merch\u2026 engage the consumer\u2026 and clip the ticket on those transactions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In both sectors, AI isn\u2019t redefining the experience\u2014it\u2019s enhancing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Globalization of Emotion\u2014and Revenue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another shared shift:globalization powered by digital access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sports leagues are no longer local or even national\u2014they are global entertainment platforms. As Al Guido, Chairman &amp; CEO of Elevate put it, even a century-old league is now \u201cvery much a startup across the globe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luxury is following suit, but with a twist: global reach, local relevance. Brands need to move away from standardized products toward \u201clocalized product\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The convergence is clear: scale globally, personalize locally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Untapped Asset: Loyalty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps the most underexploited overlap is loyalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sport holds one of the most powerful emotional assets of any industry\u2014yet has only recently begun to monetize it effectively.
