FII Institute, in collaboration with Columbia Climate School’s Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University under the leadership of Professor Yanis Ben Amor, has published its latest white paper, “Non-Negotiable Skills in the Future of Education with AI.” As generative AI transforms education and work, the white paper explores how societies can preserve uniquely human capabilities, such as critical thinking, ethical reasoning, creativity, empathy, and collaboration and provides actionable insights for educators, institutions, and policymakers to ensure AI strengthens, rather than replaces, human agency.
